The device has a signal transmitter and a signal receiver. The transmitter passes the measurement signal to a signal converter that converts it into a readable digital signal and sends this to a numerical display and simultaneously to a modulator which also receives a carrier frequency that modulates the digital signal to produce a modulated signal which is transmitted after HF amplification and can be received by a signal receiver. The received signal is HF amplified and demodulated to produce a readable digital signal, which is decoded and displayed or output.
