Some people cannot avoid snoring even when lying on their sides because the volume of the respiratory system is reduced by the position of the chin. The cushion is made of a cotton or cotton-mix cover filled with a semi-rigid material like polyester or polyurethane fibers or -shreds. It has a straight upper edge fitted with a zip fastener (1) and two curved chin supporting lateral segments (2) forming spaces (3) for the accommodation of the nose. A longitudinally positioned ridge (5) prevents the sleeper from lying on the back.
