The line safety switch is attached to a three-pole adapter that can be fixed mechanically to a distributing busbar system and that has connection bars for electrical contacting each phase busbar of a distributing busbar system using the allocated selective main line safety switch. The line safety switch and the adapter cover only the phase busbars L1,L2 and L3 in overall height. The top PEN or N busbar and the lower PE busbar can be assembled subsequently with clamps (11).
