The underwater anchor for submerged structures has an open bearing (1), where water can flow through between the bearing bush (3) and the bearing journal (7). The bearing shell (2), for the bush, has a flange (4) to be secured to a base plate (6) by fastening bolts (5). At least one spiral groove at the bearing bush forms a water film of a defined viscosity between it and the bearing journal. The bearing journal is solid, with a flame spraying treatment to form a high tensile surface coating.
