The alarm device includes an infra red movement detector built into the back of the mobile telephone. This can be controlled via the mobile telephone menu. The sensor has a range of 0 - 10 m long and 0 to 4 m wide. If something within this range moves, an alarm sound is triggered which can be switched off via the menu.
