The seal is for inserts in a plastics injection foam mold, where components are cladded by injection molding or a foam. The seal (8) contains an additive of polyurethane as fibers and/or a powder, at a rate of 0.5-30.0 wt.% or 1-20 wt.% or 2-5 wt.%. The seal is fitted at or in an opening (7) the support core (9). The seal can be placed at the lower half-mold (2) or the upper half-mold (1) of the injection mold (W), and especially as an exchangeable unit in a step.
