The coupling is attached to a nipple (5) to allow filling or bleeding of a hydraulic system. It comprises a tubular housing (1) with a connector (6) at one end. The housing contains a sealing ring (2) and the coupling is pushed on until the tip of the nipple engages in this. It is then locked in position by a spring-loaded lever (3, 4, 13) whose lower end fits into a peripheral groove (9) around it.
