The screen is provided by a foil (1) in the shape of a roof, having a central chamber (2) of a flexible gas-impervious material, filled with a non-combustible gas which is lighter than air, the side edges of the foil provided with tethering cords (4,5) secured to the ground by stakes (6,7). The central chamber of the foil can be enclosed by an annular region filled with air, in turn enclosed by a flat region.
