The manufacturing method has a cross flow pressing station (Q) using a workpiece assembled from 2 workpiece halves, with the material pressed into recesses of the workpiece transverse to the movement direction of the pressure die, for formation of the cross linkage (1). The latter is subsequently transferred from the cross flow pressing station to 2 successive calibration stations (K1,K2), each used for calibration of 2 opposing pins (1.1,1.2) of the cross linkage via a respective calibration matrix pair (2,3). An independent claim for a device for manufacture of a cross linkage is also included.
