Return motion system for adjusting the hanging device of a winter garden awning arranged between a shaft and a profile has lateral ends each fixed to a carriage or glider (16), and pulling elements (30) fixed to lateral guides (14). At least one end of the pulling elements is fixed to the carriage or glider in different positions. Receiver plates (28) sit on a drive shaft driven by a motor and can be fixed in different positions on the drive shaft. Preferred Features: The pulling elements are formed as toothed belts and the receiver plates are formed as toothed plates which correspond to the belts. The ends of the toothed belts are fixed to the carriages and/or gliders and/or intermediate elements.
