The thermoswitch (30) has a temperature- or heat-sensitive element (36), e.g. of a bimetallic material, acted on by a spring element and provided with a contact (40) cooperating with a fixed contact (46). An independent claim for a method for implementation of a temperature-dependent switch function for an electrical circuit is also included.
