The coffee grinder comprises a funnel (9) which is divided into two compartments (13, 14) feeding into a common outlet (20), below which is a grinder unit (10). A closure (22) allows either of the compartments to be sealed off as required and forms a single unit with the grinder. An Independent claim is included for a coffee machine fitted with the grinder.
