Tent with a single pole fitted into the centre of an inflatable base with the edges of the base folded to the top of the pole for compact storage and transport

A tent with a single central pole has the bottom of the pole secured into a central fitting in an inflatable base. The corners of the tent, and base, are fitted with elastic hooks to clip into the top of the pole to fold the tent similar to an umbrella. The folded pack is secured by a press fit tape (10). The base is inflated by a foot pump, or by an electric pump and in the erected position the tent is self supporting with optional tent pegs to secure the corners. The tent has sufficient buoyancy for use on water.
