The mobile step refurbishment plant has an internal combustion engine driven electric generator (1) fastened to a container or housing (6) and which is then electrically connected to a belt grinder (2), conveyor belt, UV-radiating lacquering unit (4) and circulating air system. The generator supplies the components in the container or housing with electric power. An independent claim is included for a circulating air drying chamber (5) for the drying out of the components and which incorporates a heat exchanger in the circulating air system.
