The apparatus comprises one or more computers, telephone systems, pigeon holes for postal consignments and application forms. Typically, a customer applies to the service, and fills in an application form to register. The form contains the customer's data and the type of message he wants when a postal item arrives (SMS, email etc.). He can then have it forwarded in a plain envelope.
