A bowl (13) containing a scent evaporating fluid or solid substance is positioned on top of a box open at the front or provided with a hinged door. A nightlight (9) is clipped to a horizontally positioned spring element (3, 7) attached to the rear (4) of the box which can be adjusted in height in order to control the heat acting on the substance in the bowl (13) on top and guided through slots in the top plate (5).
