The packing (1) consisting of a pallet (2) has stop components (6) fastened on the outer circumference and on the outer side bear upon U-shape folded cardboard blanks (7), the free sides (8) of which align with each other. The free ends of the blanks are spaced apart by gaps (10) in which retaining components (11) are provided and which have opposite lying slots (12) for fitting of the side ends of the blanks. The retaining component is formed by a flat strip with slots in the end faces.
