The hand-propelled trolley has a push-handle (6) upon which is installed a movable holding component (13) which is designed for the releasable locking of the handle if the latter is in a pivoted position to release the brakes (9) acting on the rear wheels (3), whereby in the locked state of the push-handle the holding component is in engagement with a fixed component (11) next to the handle. The fixed component in the non-pivoted position of the handle is loosely encompassed by the holding component.
