The device for the equipping of necks, sealing elements or support rings of especially drinking bottles with prefabricated bottle carriers (1) is constructed as a U-shaped holding and guiding element to accommodate and guide the upper sections of the bottle carrier. The holding and guiding element has a pressure plate and guide components protruding from it to the side. The pressure plate is provided with holes spaced apart in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the element for the neck, sealing element or support rings.
