The chamber (1) has an inward-opening door (4) with a seal (3) round its edge. The seal may be attached to a flange on the edge of the door aperture in the chamber wall (2). A flat impact-resistant layer (5) may be attached to the inner surface of the door by solid or flexible fastenings (6). The edge of the flat impact-resistant layer overlaps the edge of the door frame by a considerable amount.
