A rainwater drainpipe has an elbow section which forms a sleeve-fit with pipe attachments at each end. The elbow section has two shoulder zones (3, 7) to straight larger (6) and smaller (4) sleeves. the sleeves (4, 6) are esp. cylindrical over their entire length. The elbow is fabricated pref. of copper, aluminium, zinc alloy or sheet steel. The axial length of the shoulder section is twice the thickness of the material.
