The sync. energising of at least two lasers is carried out by module contg. one or more controllers, memory blocks, system logic blocks, synchronisation logic blocks and multifunctional logic blocks. The module enables generation of programmable, delayed signals.The signals are sync. to internal or external carrier with jitter less than 5 nanoseconds, pref. less than 1 nanosecond. Typically the synchronisation logic block consists of synchronisation block and timing signal block. Details of multifunction logic block are specified.
