The veneer covering for a flat door (1) consists of a number of individual veneer strips (4) side-by-side, with paper backing on their rear faces. The strips are of an elongated rectangular shape and are separated by straight contact lines (5). The veneers may be peeled off the backing paper one-by-one and stuck to the surface of the door side-by- side. The veneer pack has a central separation strip (2) with straight separation lines (3) on either side. The central separation strip may stick to the edge of the door.
