Two vertical ribs or webs (14, 15) in the socket define a space for locating a screw (30) used to secure a cover profile (20) on top of the socket. The space comprises a throat (16) leading into a wider cavity (17) for locating the free end of the screw. An Independent claim is also included for a joining profile comprising the socket and a cover profile with two covering wings or arms (21, 22) on each side of an approximately vertical tongue (23) extending in the profile length direction.
