Magnetic coil (7) is fitted in bolt/nail gun housing (5), open at front end (51) for nail discharge in longitudinal through path (61). The coil is energised by current from energy source and contains coil element (71) and magnetic core (72), when magnetic attraction causes core to move forwards and coil element rearwards. Magnetic core is located behind coil element. Striker pin (722) extends from core front end (720) through coil element into nail release through path for one nail expelling. The housing contains resetting element (743) for core and shock absorber (75) behind coil element, active on rearwards motion of coil element.
