The dual receiver system (1) changes all control functions fully to the other receiver if a receiver fails. A microcontroller continuously checks fail-safe pulse outputs (A), or outputs selected for fault detection, of the two connected receivers (B,C) for signal quality. If a faulty signal is detected for one receiver all signals (D) are completely changed over to the other receiver.
