The device (6) is designed as a housing (9) open at the bottom accommodating two spreading elements surrounded by a ring (8). A plunger with a conical tip (7) is guided vertically through the center of the device (6). The profiled ring-shaped holding area (3) is pushed over the lower end of the device (6) which is slightly widened when the plunger (7) is pulled upwards, spreading the elements apart with the conical tip. The widened ring (3) can be easily moved over the rim of the fixing area.
