Tined rotor harvester or truck feeder - has tine supports at topmost tine edges at front and rear rotor segments with identical segment ends in end-welded tine support design
Tined rotor harvester or truck feeder - has tine supports at topmost tine edges at front and rear rotor segments with identical segment ends in end-welded tine support design
The adjoining front and rear segments (6) of the rotor tine are interconnected by a tine support (10) in the sense of its rotation. The supports are close to the outermost radial top edges (16) of their respective rotor segments. The front and rear segment ends are preferably mirror images, and the segments consist of a plate (12) having single radially projecting tines (4). The leading tunes (13) start ahead of a segment (6) piece, whilst the trailing tines end just short of this piece. All the rotor tine supports (15) exceed the plate's width and start from the tine's tips. In the case of the rearmost tines (14), their supports start from where the tine goes over to the segment piece specified. The supports of the remaining rotor tines terminate directly over the rotor casing and join together at this point. The supports bear on the top edges of the segment pieces at front and rear ends of adjoining segments and are welded in where they adjoin the rearmost tine supports as opposed to their far ends which accept and are welded to the front rotor tines.
