PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezing preventive having a prolonged retentivity of an effect of preventing the freeze of a paved surface and can restore its function of preventing freezing. ;SOLUTION: There is provided a method for preventing the freezing of a paved surface, which comprises spraying a slurried freezing preventive containing a cement, a salt, and a water-absorbing resin to thereby inject the salt in a state held in a high concentration in the water-absorbing resin into a pavement 10. This prolongs the retentivity of an effect of preventing freezing. Further, the function of preventing freezing can be restored by re-spraying a salt onto the paved surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
