PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for increasing mesh for more surely closing a hole generated in the increased mesh, in forming the increasing mesh within a knitting width of a rubber fabric. ;SOLUTION: A rubber-stitching course containing an increasing mesh part is formed by transferring a knitted mesh on a needle bed same as one empty needle in a longitudinal pair of empty needles formed after making a longitudinal pair of knitting needles to be formed increased meshes and hooked to a knitting needle adjacent to the empty needle to an opposite other needle bed to form two empty needles adjacent on the one needle bed and supplying the mesh to an empty needle of the other needle bed while reverse-transferring a yarn supplying inlet at the increasing mesh part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
