A method for unlocking of the emergency stop apparatus of a lift

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rescue passengers promptly if the passengers are confined in an elevator car by mounting a hoist on a hoisting source in a hoistway and a hoisting source on the car side and moving up the car for releasing an emergency stop device. ;SOLUTION: When an emergency stop device operates to stop an elevator car 2 on the way of a hoistway, an operator M goes up on the ceiling of the car 2 with a chain block 18 and a mounting member 17. A bracket 19 is pressed against the base of a guide rail 5, and inserted into a rail clip 22 from the surface side of the bracket 19. An upper hook 26 of a chain block 18 is put into an engaging hole 25 at the front end part of an arm 24 to lift the chain block 18, and the lower hook 28 is put into an anchor 29 of the car 2. When an operation rope 30 of the chain block 18 is endlessly-traveled under this condition, an operation rope 27 is wound, the car 2 moves up, and an emergency stop device is released, thus it is possible to rescue passengers even if the passengers are confined in the car 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
