Brief description of the reproduction of a card of the colors a black point k - alone in reducing parasites of the interpolator

The method reduces the number of image parasites for an image production device. A color card (105) is formed so that any input of whatever given primary color is not equal to a color value for this respective primary color which is used to define a black point. A half tint ramp is formed, selected so that no restitution is produced for any color value of a primary color which is used to identify the black point. A half tint configuration is selected to produce complete restitution for any color value of a non primary color which defines the black point. An Independent claim is included for an image production device using a color card, ramp and half tint configuration.
