The mixer spurious harmonics reduction method has test signal parameters (TXI,TXQ) applied with phase shifting to the I and Q input ports of the mixer. The test parameters are set so as to cover a range of values. Knowledge of the parabolic curve followed by the output values then allows a microprocessor to find an optimum solution, and set the mixer to these values.
