The slightly deformable protection structure against falling masses is composed of a thick wall (1) with a regular meshed structure. A support structure (2) incorporated in the wall enables control of its geometry. A device (3) for the transmission of forces to the ground (3) is located upstream of the structure and controlled by a spring.
