The profile (1) comprises a retractable retaining wedge (16) having an upper face (17) and an underside (18) connected by a connection (19) to a wall (9) of a reception cavity (3). There is a housing (10) formed in the cavity wall where the wedge is retracted and the plane bottom (11) of which is inclined so as to serve as a sliding ramp for the underside. A friction surface (20) on the wedge upper face constitutes a means of retaining the profile on the plate edge (4).
