The bucket (1) has near its rear face a space (S) in which is placed and fixed by shafts (4,5) the body of a hydraulic breaker (3). The breaker pick (6) is fixed to the breaker body by spindles (8). A curved protection plate (11) is located in the lower part of the bucket side. For the operation of the bucket during excavation the pick is withdrawn and the plate prevents the breaker damaging the ground.
