The energy collector consists of a tube (2) with fins which is mounted as a spiral on a concave conical reflecting base (1) which has a protective cover (3). Hot air under pressure is fed through an accumulator (18) and valve (5) to a closed U tube partly filled with water (6). The tube contains umbrella type pistons (9) attached to a continuous chain which drives wheel (8) to give mechanical energy.
