The frame (1) consists of interior and exterior frames (1A,1B) pre-assembled by an insulating connection. The interior frame has a peripheral web applied against the exterior edge (3B) of the bay (2). The exterior frame (1B) comprises over its periphery several legs (6) made of an insulating material extending along the interior frame periphery (11A). Each leg delimits with the external perimeter of the internal frame a non-return insertion and retaining passage for the web (8A) of a corner iron (8) whose other web (8B) is abutted against the bay interior edge.
