The method includes the steps of allocating, in a database, to each client, data relating to placement criteria, determining from a satisfaction value of the client for a seat, as a function of the adequateness of the placement criteria, and allocating in a database, to each client, a priority level. The final step includes allocation by means of an allocation server, to each client, by decreasing level of priority, of the available seat having the maximal satisfaction value.
