The data output (13) comprises an interface (14) which is located close to the mechanical assembly piece (5) during use of the tool. The interface can cooperate with the assembly part on which the assembly piece is being mounted. The mechanical assembly piece is designed to be mounted on a tool body (2). The data supply device is used to measure torque. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting an assembly piece using this tool.
