The radiator consists of a series of linked tubular modules (1'), each with a vertical duct (2') between lower and upper horizontal ducts (3', 5') having threaded inner surfaces (4, 6) for couplings to connect it to adjacent modules, and external fins (7). The vertical duct has a truncated conical inner surface and lower inlet of substantially greater diameter than its upper outlet (9'). The lower horizontal duct formed by coupled modules is also of greater diameter than the upper one, preferably by 25 per cent, and contains a shielded electrical resistance to heat the fluid with which the radiator is filled. The couplings for adjacent modules fit inside the horizontal ducts and have seals for the joints.
