Web page caching method, by storing page fragments with different lifetimes in dynamic cache between client terminal and servers

The web page is composed dynamically from fragments which are provided by different servers (200, 300, 400, 500, 600) and have different lifetimes. The refreshing of a cached fragment is triggered at its expiration time. Caching is done on a computer situated between the client terminal (10, 20, 30) and the servers providing the fragments. The web page comprises a series of fragments with different lifetimes. An independent claim is also included for the dynamic cache module (700, 800) used to temporarily store a web page between a client terminal and application server.
