Tire valve equipped with an electronic tire pressure sensor comprises a valve body (1) extending along an axial direction (A) to form an air passage (4) and an electronic sensor (5) having a housing (7) to receive the valve body. A locking ring (11) is mounted around the valve body to lock it within the housing by means of a separating cup (13). The valve body, housing and separating cup are designed so that the electronic sensor pivots with respect to the axial direction of the tire valve before locking of the locking ring. Independent claims are made for: (a) a valve body; (b) and an electronic pressure sensor for a tire valve.
