The contact cooling system comprises an intermediate socket (4) located between the tool holder (11) and the cooling socket (3). The cooling socket consists of fins through which air circulates to remove the heat captured by the intermediate socket. The air comes from a ventilation system (10) bringing outside air into the caisson (6), the cooling socket being its only exit.
