The connector comprises the end flange (5) of an exchanger inlet or outlet tube (1) and a flange (4) of a tube (2) which engages in the first tube to connect the exchanger to other circuit components. The flanges are held in mutual support by a deformable ring held axially with the flanges in a cage (7). The ring comprises rigid blocks (20) returned towards the axis by spring arms which can elastically separate to allow the flange (4) to pass during mounting.
