Use of at least one styryl-pyrazole compound (I), or its salt, (a) for inducing and/or stimulating growth of hair, inhibiting hair loss and/or increasing hair density or (b) as inhibitor of 15-hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase (15-PGDH).
