The method involves forming a path among samples of an entire set of data, where path passes through a slot of the sample. The data set is obtained as a result of discrete cosine transformation of an initial set of data. A vector is formed between two sample slots of successive data based on the slot of intermediate data that have not been already coded by a vector. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a method for decoding a set of data (b) a coding device of a data set (c) a decoding device of a data set (d) an apparatus for processing digital data.
