The procedure involves cutting a main piece of a garment from a fabric material such that an upper back part (2) and an upper front part (3) of the garment are continuous on the piece. The piece has two detachments between the upper back part and a sleeve, and between front upper part and the sleeve. The detachments are joined by seams (6,9), hems of the sleeves and body of the garment, and by a stitch (12). An Independent claim is also included for a garment with sleeves.
