Ski boot with rigid upper partly of injected thermoplastic material has decoration made from transparent plastic with transfer motif

The ski boot has part of its upper, e.g. a collar (1), made from an injected thermoplastic material, with a decoration carrying a motif (9) of different coloured inks. The decoration is produced by making a transfer of the motif with sublimable inks and forming a complex of the decorated layer and a fastening layer, placing it in a mould and injecting a thermoplastic material to form the component of the boot upper.
