Leaf stripping method for viticulture, involves generating airflow upstream of cutter in airflow direction, to trim vegetation, where airflow is tangential to vegetation

The method involves creating an air flow, which trims vegetation in front of a cutter (14). The air flow is generated upstream of the cutter in a direction of the air flow. The air flow is tangential to the vegetation. The speed of the air flow is increased, and the tangential flow enables shaking of the vegetation by Venturi effect. An Independent claim is also included for a device for implementing a leaf stripping method.
